What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was launched by the Government of India in February 2019. PM Modi lead the stage and announced this much-required scheme for the welfare of farmers. As per PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Indian farmers get the aid of ₹6000 per annum. These 6000 rupees are released in three installments of ₹2000 each. The first installment is deposited between December-March, the Second installment from April to July and the third Installment between August and November.
The Scheme is for the small farmers who have land less than 2 hectares. Farmer can register to get the benefits by CSC or self on the official portal of PM-KISAN yojana. Once the application is approved by the local administration farmer is eligible to get the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi installment of 2000 in bank account. Till now, Over 1.15 Lakh Crore rupees are already deposited to accounts of over 9 crore farmers.
